Nocturnals was a comic book guide created by author/artist/painter Dan Brereton, that follows Doc Horror and his daughter Eve in Pacific Metropolis, California, a city filled with supernatural weirdnesses. Initially printed by Malibu Comics in 1994 as a six-issue restricted collection underneath their Bravura/Black Planet imprint. In 1997, it returned in Dark Horse Presents as  The Nocturnals: Witching Hour, earlier than shifting once more from Dark Horse to  Oni Press in 2000 for The Nocturnals: Troll Bridge after which The Nocturnals: The Dark Perpetually in 2001 with a derivative. The Gunwitch: Outskirts of Doom. In 2008, Picture Comics printed The Nocturnals: Carnival of Beasts.
